Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September. The successful candidate will have a proven track record (or strong potential) of delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

  • Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

  • Promote the school’s ethos, values, and high expectations of behaviour and learning.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 or KS2).

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.

  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SEND and differentiation strategies.

  • Familiarity with phonics programs such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds.

  • A willingness to lead a subject area or contribute to extra-curricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
