Primary Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher with solid understanding of the curriculum to work within a Primary School in Gateshead.

The headteacher is looking for a passionate and creative individual to start the at the school as soon as possible. You will be responsible for supporting pupils in preparation for their SATs which are to go ahead as normal next year. You should be able to motivate students of varying abilities with a goal of meeting their baseline grades.

Rated ‘Outstanding’ on their last Ofsted, the school praises itself on their approach to teaching. A very welcoming school, you will be supported by staff during your placement as well as given opportunities to develop further.

Currently, the school is only accepting fully qualified teachers for the role.

-         Fully Qualified Teacher

-         Immediate preparation for KS1 SATs which are expected to run as normal next year

-         In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and a strong track record of raising attainment

-         Creative approach to teaching, in line with the school

-         Hold an advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one

-         Competitive rates of pay between GBP500-GBP700 paid weekly
