Year 5 Teacher
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to start in September 2020 on a permanent contract to replace a teacher relocating outside of London. The school is located in Sutton.
The School was graded Ofsted Good in its last two inspections with Leadership and Management and Behaviour and Safety both graded Outstanding. The school is well resourced with pupils able to experience a wide range of vibrant learning opportunities inside and outside school. The general attitude towards the school is that pupils are enthusiastic about learning and proud of their school.
The school creates and maintains a happy, safe and inclusive environment where adults and pupils both feel welcomed. The school has a culture of continuous improvement which believes in giving the pupils a voice and allocating time for self-reflection and self-assessment.
You will be working as part of a lovely team of staff where the teamwork between colleagues is so strong it drew particular comment during their recent Ofsted inspection. There are excellent opportunities for teachers to undertake training linked to their developmental needs and the school are keen to help work with you on any areas you may be particularly passionate about developing further.
The school is open to considering Newly Qualified teachers but would prefer a candidate with at least a year of experience. The key criteria for shortlisting include:
- At least 1 year experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- UK QTS
- Great teamwork skills with a desire to integrate into a strong supportive team
- Demonstrable commitment to personal development
- A passion for teaching!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
