Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in Wimborne, Dorset. This role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work across various primary schools in the area.

Position Details:

  • Location: Wimborne, Dorset
  • Contract Type: Temporary, with potential for permanent placement
  • Start Date: Immediate or as per availability
  • Salary: £120-140 per day, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, in line with the school's plans.
  • Ensure effective classroom management and provide a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Adapt to different schools and year groups, maintaining flexibility in teaching styles.
  • Provide feedback on students’ progress and support their development.
  • Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
  • Support students in achieving their best and help maintain their motivation and focus.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in teaching primary school students (either in a permanent or supply role).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to learning.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, willing to teach across different year groups.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering their development.
