Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to start after October half-term. About the role:

  • Start-date: 3rd November
  • Ongoing, full-time opportunity
  • Year 1/2 class

As a Primary Teacher, you will work within the schools KS1 department teaching a mixed class of Year 1-2. You will plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons which follow the national curriculum whilst incorporating the schools’ values. You will work closely with support staff to identify students who may have additional learning needs and require further support; collaborating to create and implement individualised learning plans. Additionally, you will provide updates to parents/carers when necessary, ensuring they are updated with both academic, behavioural and emotional progress.

  • Experience teaching KS1 students (teacher placements included)
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current behaviour management techniques
  • A genuine passion for improving the learning journey of all students and creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Able to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team when necessary
  • A passionate individual with motivation for continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
