Part-Time Tutor – Primary Support in school - Lymington

Teaching Personnel are working closely with one of our partner schools in Lymington to recruit an experienced tutor or qualified teacher to provide targeted support for pupils who require additional academic guidance.

This is a part-time opportunity, with the successful educator working two days per week, delivering three-hour tuition blocks. The role will involve working with a pupil who may face barriers to learning, so the ideal candidate will be confident, resilient, and experienced in supporting young people who may present challenging behaviour.

The role:

Delivering targeted tuition sessions within a school setting

Working two days per week, across three-hour teaching blocks

Supporting pupils who require additional academic and behavioural support

Planning and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs

Encouraging engagement, motivation, and positive learning behaviours

The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have significant tutoring/teaching experience

Be confident working with pupils who may demonstrate challenging behaviour

Have strong behaviour management and communication skills

Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with learners

Be committed to helping pupils achieve positive outcomes
