Are you an experienced KS1 teacher looking for your next rewarding role in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working with a ‘Good’-rated infant school in Southampton to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher to cover a maternity leave starting September 2025.

The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Be confident in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management

Be committed to maintaining high standards of progress and achievement

Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
This maternity cover position is expected to run for at least two terms, with the possibility of continuing longer depending on circumstances.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
