Primary Supply Teachers – Morecambe & Surrounding Areas

Start Date: 23rd February 2026
Contract: Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term Supply
Pay: £120–£160 per day (experience dependent)
Locations: Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth and nearby primary schools

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Morecambe and the surrounding areas who require reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to support with short-term and long-term cover needs. Due to a significant increase in demand, we are seeking teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, as well as those confident supporting pupils with SEN.


Role Overview

As a Supply Teacher, you will provide high‑quality teaching and classroom management in the absence of the class teacher. Opportunities are available for:

  • Emergency day‑to‑day cover
  • Short‑term placements
  • Long‑term assignments within local schools

These roles offer excellent flexibility while allowing you to work across a variety of vibrant, welcoming primary settings.


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching EYFS, KS1, KS2 or SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and adaptability
  • Reliable, punctual and confident working across different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
