They are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 2 Teacher to join their vibrant school community from September.
The Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of the young students. You will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early education and helping children build a strong foundation for their future learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Support the pastoral and well-being needs of students
- Engage with parents and guardians to build strong home-school relationships
About You:
The school are looking for a motivated, creative, and dedicated teacher who:
- Holds a valid UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, and a strong understanding of the curriculum
- Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young children
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a positive approach to teaching
- Is a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and personal growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
