Year 3 Teacher required for primary school in north Manchester, M8.
January start for minimum 1 term but likely rest of the academic year
A school based contract a possibility
A primary school in north Manchester, are looking to recruit a year 3 teacher on a full time basis from January. Due to staff changes the school require a year 3 teacher for at least until Easter but likely the rest of the academic year.
Our partner Primary school enjoy an excellent reputation as a result of the high standards set by the Senior Leadership team. The whole school community have a high regard for each other which makes it a truly harmonious place to teach. The children’s behaviour is outstanding with lessons displaying highly effective teaching.
This school requires a teacher who has experience of working within KS2 previously. The headteacher is continuously looking to continue to improve the school so. This is a great place to work, with a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic.
Key responsibilities:
- To teach pupils according to their educational needs and school policy.
- To plan and prepare lessons effectively according to schemes of work and policies using appropriate resources.
- To assess, record and report pupils' progress and attainment.
- To mark children’s work in line with school policy.
- To maintain good order and discipline amongst pupils, safeguard their health & safety, and check their attendance.
- To share in the development of the school curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
