Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time | Moston (Start Date: After February Half Term)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a warm and inclusive primary school in Moston, which is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team after the February half term. This full-time role (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons tailored to Year 2 pupils.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to support your own growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally with Year 2.
  • Strong behaviour management and effective classroom organisation.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Confident using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
