Job description

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a school in Glossop that is eager to welcome a passionate and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher. This school prides itself on fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning community where staff work together to inspire and empower both students and colleagues. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to early career students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching early career students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology within the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
