Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Garforth

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Secondary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £130 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for primary education.

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching primary school students.
  • Experience in lesson planning and assessment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
  • Specialist training in areas such as SEN or EAL.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a primary school setting with regular school hours.
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.
  • May involve some extra-curricular activities and events outside of regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
