Location: Exeter, Devon

Pay: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated KS1 Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and engaging primary school environment? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a lovely school in Exeter to recruit a temporary full-time Key Stage 1 teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing atmosphere for young learners.

About the Role:

  • Full-time Key Stage 1 class teacher

  • Temporary position – ideal for teachers seeking a short-term commitment, with the chance of school contracted if desiered. 

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and fellow staff

  • Supporting children’s development both academically and socially

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2 preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics teaching (e.g., Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds)

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A flexible, positive and proactive approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
