Primary Teacher
Salary- £28,060 - £36,300 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
Working hours- Full-time: 845am to 445pm Monday to Friday.
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a large SEN secondary school based in TQ9. The School are looking for a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher for pupils aged 7-16. The school provides education for up to 40 pupils aged 7-16 who benefit from small group and individualised learning.
- To plan and teach clear, high quality lessons to support pupils to make good or outstanding progress and to embed key concepts in their long term memory
- To set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment and considering each pupil as an individual
- To have regard, and plan to meet, the special educational needs of pupils To have, or rapidly develop, expert knowledge in the subject/s taught
- To enable all pupils to understand key concepts, effectively checking understanding and correcting misunderstandings
- To assess pupil work and progress giving regular feedback and use this to continuously inform your teaching
THE PERSON
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but consideration will be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications
- Experience of Special Education and a passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties
- A commitment to positive behaviour management
- All applicants must have use of a vehicle and business use insurance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
