Primary Teacher – Crawley

Position: Primary School Teacher
Location: Crawley
Pay: M1–M6 (Paid to scale, pro rata if part-time)
Start Date: After October half term

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support

• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and support staff to ensure effective learning

• Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development

• Maintain strong classroom management using positive, consistent strategies

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers

• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing CPD opportunities

• Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and commitment to inclusive education

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices

• Experience teaching in a primary setting (desirable – ECTs are welcome to apply)

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Creative, reflective, and innovative in your teaching approach

• Organised and confident in managing time and responsibilities

• A positive, proactive attitude with a desire to make a difference
