Primary Teacher – Crawley
Position: Primary School Teacher
Location: Crawley
Pay: M1–M6 (Paid to scale, pro rata if part-time)
Start Date: After October half term

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support

Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and support staff to ensure effective learning
-
Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
-
Maintain strong classroom management using positive, consistent strategies

Communicate effectively with parents and carers
-
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing CPD opportunities
-
Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and commitment to inclusive education
About You:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices
-
Experience teaching in a primary setting (desirable – ECTs are welcome to apply)

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Creative, reflective, and innovative in your teaching approach
-
Organised and confident in managing time and responsibilities
-
A positive, proactive attitude with a desire to make a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
