Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit supply teachers to work in Primary Schools in the centre of Cardiff!
If you are looking for a position that can be flexible around you, a Supply Teacher role is a great opportunity for teachers to manage their own diary and gain experience in a range of Primary Schools. As a supply teacher, the position can suit your needs whether you are looking for 2 days per week or the full 5 days. You will be given opportunities to work in Foundation Phase and KS2 classes, and it is a great way to expand your experience and confidence when teaching in a range of schools and classes.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal Supply Teacher will need to be adaptable and flexible to fit with local Primary School’s needs. An enthusiastic and positive manner will be beneficial when leading the class, to ensure the children are engaged and progressing as expected. The ability to build effective relationships with the children will be required, along with participating in activities in the school. The ideal candidate will need to be reliable and organised and be able to deliver high standard lessons that follow the Welsh Curriculum.
Requirements Criteria:
- Enhanced DBS (child only) checks must be complete before the role will commence.
- EWC registration – mandatory requirement in Wales.
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
