Job description

KS2 Teacher – Bridport (February Start)

Location: Bridport, Dorset
Start Date: After February Half Term
End Date: May 2026 (with potential to extend)
Contract Type: Temporary / Long-Term Supply
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Bridport to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term supply position starting after February half term.

The Role

  • Full teaching responsibility within a KS2 class
  • Position running until May, with a strong possibility of extension
  • Planning, preparation and marking required
  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Working closely with experienced staff and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Confident in planning, assessment and classroom management
  • Committed, adaptable and passionate about teaching
  • Available from February half term
