Teaching Assistant – Wimborne & Surrounding Areas
Long-Term & Day-to-Day Roles | Flexible Travel | SEN Experience Useful

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive schools in and around Wimborne, with additional opportunities across the surrounding areas. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants who are open to both long-term placements and day-to-day supply work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values flexibility, and is passionate about supporting pupils in the classroom.

Position Details:

  • Role: Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Wimborne + surrounding areas
  • Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
  • Contract: Long-term roles and daily supply available
  • Pay: Competitive rates, paid weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
  • Is confident supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups or 1:1
  • Is flexible and happy to commute to local schools
  • Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel
  • SEN experience is useful, but not essential
  • Brings a positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
