Primary Teacher – Bournemouth

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Full Time, Term-to-Perm
Salary: Paid to scale

We are currently working with a friendly and supportive Primary school in Bournemouth that is looking to welcome new teachers into their community. This is a school where children feel safe, encouraged, and inspired to learn—and they’re seeking teachers who can bring energy, creativity, and genuine care to the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2—whether working with small groups or providing 1:1 SEN support

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of the children and the curriculum

  • Offering clear and constructive feedback to pupils and parents to support progress

  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties

  • Working closely with class teachers, TAs and the SENCO to create personalised learning experiences

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary-age pupils in mainstream and/or SEN settings

  • A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
