Primary School Teacher – NP12 Area

Location: Newport (NP12)
Start Date: September
Position: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Daily Rate: £172.98

We are looking for a committed Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in the NP12 area this September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys helping pupils achieve their best in a positive, inclusive environment.


Role responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment

  • Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed

  • Encourage positive behaviour and mutual respect

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers

  • Take part in staff meetings and school-wide activities


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
