A Primary school in Blackburn (amongst others in the Blackburn), have built a good working relationship with Teaching Personnel over the past year and with this they are using the agency for a number of staffing services. These include; emergency teachers; pre-booked teachers and teachers who can cover planned absence on a medium or long term basis. This is the perfect opportunity for part-time practitioners to impact on learning on a daily basis, or for the people who are looking to get their face into other schools in order to get a feel for how they work and whether they would fit suitably in school on a long term basis.

The work we offer is on a temporary basis and so there is no obligation to undertaking the work, nor will you be ‘forced’ to accept bookings you are not comfortable with. The rate of pay is dependent on pay scale, the role and how far you are travelling etc. However these are extremely competitive in the Lancashire Agency market.

Personally, I speak to a number of teachers on a daily basis, whether they are Fully or Newly Qualified; the biggest annoyance with working in schools is that they feel undervalued and as though they have rushed into taking up a perm or temp. role. Working with Teaching Personnel in the Lancashire area will expose you to working in different year groups amongst children from varying catchment areas. This school in Blackburn could be the alternative role you have always been looking for! Work when you want and take holidays when you want to!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
