EYFS Teacher – York
£140–£200 per day | Temporary | Full-Time

Are you a passionate EYFS Teacher who loves helping young children take their first steps in learning? We’re working with a friendly and supportive primary school in York that is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming setting where creativity is encouraged, children are at the heart of everything, and staff are genuinely valued.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework

  • Create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe and confident

  • Support pupils’ development across all areas of learning

  • Observe, assess, and celebrate children’s progress

  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • EYFS teaching experience (NQTs/ECTs welcome)

  • A caring, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
