Primary Teacher (Behaviour Specialist) – Salisbury
Pay: M1 – M6 depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Term Time Only, Part time & Full Time from 8:30am to 3:30pm
Location: Salisbury. Wiltshire

What Your Days Will Look Like:

You’ll be teaching in classrooms that are vibrant, busy, and full of movement. Your presence will matter — pupils will look to you for boundaries, consistency, and calm leadership. You’ll be the person who can turn a chaotic moment into a constructive one, and who understands that behaviour is communication, not confrontation.

Your daily rhythm will include:

  • Leading large and small, high‑energy classes with confidence and clarity
  • Delivering engaging lessons that hold attention and cut through distractions, in line with the curriculum.
  • Using strong behaviour strategies, de‑escalation techniques, and restorative approaches. You could come across emotional and physical meltdowns..
  • Working closely with support staff to maintain consistency across the school
  • Supporting pupils with big personalities who need firm guidance and steady reassurance
  • Celebrating progress — especially the small, hard‑won steps forward

What you’ll bring:

You will need presence. The kind that fills a room without raising your voice. The kind that pupils respect instantly.  A Teacher with a calm, friendly, humorous personality that can get down to their level whilst also setting clear boundaries. A person they trust so they can be the best versions of themselves.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the update service ( or willingness to get one)
  • Experience in busy schools or behaviour‑heavy environments
  • Confidence handling challenging behaviour and large groups
  • A strong, grounded personality that pupils respond to
  • Resilience, humour, and the ability to reset quickly after tough moments
  • A belief that every child — even the most challenging — deserves patience and consistency

You’ll receive:

  • Weekly PAYE Pay (no umbrella charges)
  • A daily rate of £165 - £265 per day
  • Support from a team of consultant who understand the realities of challenging behaviour

If This Sounds Like You…

Then this school is ready for the teacher who can bring order to lively classrooms, connection to big personalities, and calm to challenging moments. Bring your strength, your presence, and your passion — they’ll bring the opportunity to make a lasting difference.
