Year 5 Teacher – Full Time

Location: Salisbury

Start Date: After Easter

Contract: Full Time | Until the End of the Academic Year

A Salisbury Junior school are seeking a committed and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team for the remainder of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and consistent educator to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming school community.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high‑quality lessons, maintaining strong behaviour management, and providing a stable learning environment for pupils as they progress through the summer term.

What the school is looking for:

-          A reliable and consistent teacher who can offer stability to the class

-          Strong behaviour management and a confident classroom presence

-          Experience teaching Upper KS2, ideally Year 5

-          Understanding of SEN needs and ability to differentiate accordingly

-          Someone who is organised, professional, and able to deliver full planning and marking

-          A positive, team‑focused attitude and excellent communication skills

-          A long‑term teaching position until July

-          Full planning and marking responsibilities included

-          Pay reflective of your teaching experience (MPS/UPS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
