KS2 Class Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)

A welcoming and supportive junior school in Salisbury is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays.
This is a full-time temporary position running until May half-term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
- Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Managing an average-sized class with a small number of pupils who may present some challenging behaviours
- Working closely and collaboratively with support staff and additional adults in the classroom
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
- planning and marking will be required. Paid to scale
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be confident, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
- Work effectively as part of a team, liaising with support staff and senior leadership
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Be able to provide reliable, recent references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
