Are you a passionate ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a variety of settings?
Teaching Personnel Plymouth are currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across schools in and around Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers to experience different year groups, school cultures, and classroom environments – all without the additional planning or assessment responsibilities that come with a full-time post.

Whether you're looking to build experience, develop your teaching style, or find the right school fit for a longer-term opportunity, supply teaching is the perfect stepping stone to launch your teaching career.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible work to suit your schedule – full and part-time roles available

  • Opportunities to teach EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Daily rates between £120 - £140 paid weekly

Ideal for ECTs who:

  • Want to gain confidence in a variety of classroom settings

  • Would like to try out different year groups before settling into a permanent role

  • Appreciate having fewer responsibilities while building experience

  • Are seeking long-term or permanent opportunities that feel like the right fit

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

  • Passion, adaptability, and strong classroom management skills

  • Reliable transport or ability to travel across Plymouth and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
