Who qualifies as a Supply Teacher?
To be eligible, you must possess UK QTS and have experience across 2 Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 and KS2). Demonstrating excellent behavior management skills and a flexible attitude is essential. Ideally, you should be available 2 to 5 days per week, have your own transport, and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes.
What does being a Supply Teacher entail?
While most assignments will be scheduled in advance, there might be occasions when you receive calls between 7 am and 9 am for same-day work. Most schools will provide the day's lesson plans, but it's crucial to have a repertoire of resources suitable for all year groups. Working across various schools, you'll adhere to each institution's policies, assess students' work, and provide comprehensive handover notes for the returning class teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
