Primary Supply Teacher

Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher

Location: South East England, West Sussex, Littlehampton

Job Type: Temporary, flexible hours

Salary: £110 - £130 Per day

Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Job Duties:

The primary supply teacher will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging lessons to primary school students.
  • Following the curriculum and ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Managing the classroom and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress.
  • Providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and school staff.
  • Participating in school activities and events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Education and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching primary school students.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications or training in specific subject areas.
  • Experience working as a supply teacher.

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with full-time hours.
  • Work location may vary depending on school placements.
  • Collaboration with school staff and participation in school activities.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate school needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
