Primary Special Needs Teacher

Teaching Personnel are the UK's leading education recruitment agency and are looking for Primary Teachers to join schools for children with Special Educational Needs in Rotherham. We would like newly qualified or experienced teachers who are confident teaching children with a range of needs; these include Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), learning difficulties, physical disabilities and communication and interaction difficulties.

We would like candidates who have previous experience in SEN provisions. You must be energetic and enthusiastic in your teaching and be a good role model to the children in your classes. You must be able to create fun and accessible activities and find the best ways to communicate with your pupils, and recognise the individual ways in which they learn.

  • You will be paid weekly and earn between ÂŁ110-ÂŁ165 a day depending on the role and experience
  • You will be hired by Teaching Personnel working in the local schools we support
  • You will get access to our online CPD Academy, focused on your personal development, where you can book on to training courses

About the candidate:

  • Fully qualified teacher
  • Experienced supporting or teaching students with Special Educational Needs
  • Hold a current DBS which is on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
