Primary SEND Qualified Teacher

Job description

Teaching personnel is working with a SEND primary school in Stockport to find an enthusiastic Teacher to work with students who have complex learning needs. The school has a strong focus on communication, therapy and independence, and the ideal candidate will have experience working with complex additional needs, ideally in an educational setting. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a high standard of lessons, assessing progress and education plans for each child, fully supported by experienced school staff in and outside the classroom.

For this role you must:

-          Be a fully qualified teacher with QTS and PCGE

-          Have experience working with special needs in another role where skills are transferable

-          Be comfortable adapting your teaching to be inclusive to all students

-          Be confident in leading a team of teaching assistants

-          Be able to provide feedback to relevant school staff and parents

-          Be available full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
