Primary SEN Teaching Assistant wanted in Liverpool

Are you an enthusiastic, inspiring learning support assistant looking for a new role?

Do you have experience in SEN education?

Do you have specific experience working with children with autism?

Are you qualified or have experience working in a Primary School Environment?

Are you located close to Liverpool or happy to drive?

Working with Teaching Personnel will provide you with a schedule that fits to your availability, and a competitive pay rate, earning £57 per day. As well as this, you also have the chance to gain valuable experience within the institution, and access to additional training opportunities. We are looking for individuals who are able to start work in October or November 2019.

To qualify for this you will need to have:

  • A passion for education and encouraging children to develop.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with children, either in small groups or 1:1.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with confidence, both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Previous School/Health care experience/Youth work/Sports coaching are desired.
  • Experience working 1:1 with children with autism.
  • A DBS Child workforce only registered with the update service (or be willing to gain one)
  • A full Driving License. (Or able/ willing to commute to Liverpool)
  • Positivity throughout the lessons
  • The ability to build a strong relationship with a student or students
  • The ability to assist pupils with their tasks, but allowing them to be independent
