Primary SEN Teache required!

Are you a qualified Teacher seeking work in the Blackburn area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn based SEN School which caters for KS3/4 pupils. However, they are currently seeking a Primary trained Teacher as many of their pupils are working at more of a KS2 level. The School caters for pupils with Autism, Physical Disabilities, Learning Difficulties, Downs Syndrome and pupils who display low level behavioural difficulties. Some of the pupils in School are non-verbal so experience using PECS to communicate would be ideal. Also, if candidates have their Team Teach qualification they will be favoured, although this is not essential.

The school is based centrally in Blackburn and has close links to public transport. The staff in School are very welcoming of new staff and the class sizes are generally under 10 per class.

The role will start as soon as possible and the candidate will be expected to meet with the School before hand so they can ascertain your suitability for the role. The role will be full time and there is an opportunity for a long term position.
