Primary School Teaching Assistant
Job description
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant working through Teaching Personnel, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Roles may vary from general classroom support to 1:1 support for pupils with ALN.
Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Provide 1:1 or small group interventions
-
Assist pupils with ALN
-
Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
-
Prepare learning resources and classroom materials
-
Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, care, coaching, etc.)

A positive, proactive, and patient approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
