Primary Teacher

Are you a Primary School Teacher or ECT looking for a role within your local area? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teachers eager to make a positive impact on young learners. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the educational journey of children aged 4 to 11, inspiring them to reach their full potential. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As our network of partner schools expands, we are urgently seeking talented primary specialists to provide flexible, short-term supply cover, typically for 3–5 days per week. You will follow each school's policies, mark pupils’ work, and provide thorough handover notes for the Class Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be diligent, organised, and committed to raising educational standards.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Set ambitious goals that empower children to achieve their best, while addressing individual learning needs.
  • Foster a welcoming classroom environment that promotes active participation and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Effectively manage Teaching Assistants to support classroom learning.
  • Use assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of safeguarding practices to ensure a safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) encouraged to apply
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
