Daily Pay - £157.66

Position – Supply Teacher

Start - September 2024

Hours – 8:30 – 3:30 (Monday-Friday)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated primary school teachers to provide supply cover in primary schools located in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must be reliable and flexible, and open to working in both Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 classes. The roles are suitable for both Newly Qualified Teachers and Fully Qualified Teaches, who are available for a minimum of two working days per week. You will have full access to your diary and can provide your availability each week whether you are looking for work 2 days per week or 5 days per week. This is a great opportunity for teachers looking to gain experience in a range of age groups and primary schools, with a more flexible approach of working, 

Successful Teacher Criteria:

  • PGCE Primary Education with QTS
  • Enhanced Child only DBS certificate which is subscribed to the Update Service
  • Be able to provide x2 teaching references to cover a 24-month period
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

What will this position look like?

As a Supply Teacher, you will be given a range of opportunities to work in a variety of Primary Schools across Cardiff. Supply work will be needed across all classes from Nursery to Year 6 and the ability to adapt a teaching approach to suit all needs and abilities will be essential. The schools are open for supply teachers to bring their own techniques to the role, whilst contributing to the positive school environment and working well with the other staff members in the school. We do prioritise the schools that are local to you, but we do ask for the ideal teacher to be flexible and able to travel up to 30 minutes if necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
