Primary PPA Teacher – North Sheffield
Location: North Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)
Pay: £120–£200 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding role without the full planning and marking workload? Teaching Personnel are working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across North Sheffield who are seeking a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher to join their teams.
The Role:
As a Primary PPA Teacher, you’ll provide high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, covering lessons during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. You’ll deliver engaging lessons following pre-set plans and help maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching a variety of year groups and subjects, and who thrives on building relationships across the whole school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.

Follow lesson plans provided by class teachers.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and engagement.

Support pupils’ academic and personal development.
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.

Experience teaching across primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable approach.

Passion for supporting the learning and development of young children.
