Are you a caring, committed, and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a new role this September?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a nurturing and forward-thinking primary school in Swansea, seeking a talented teacher to join their Year 1 or Year 2 team from September 2025. This full-time opportunity is ideal for both experienced teachers and NQT’s looking to begin or grow their teaching journey in a supportive environment.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere
- Use effective assessment strategies to support pupil progress
- Work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders, and parents to meet pupils’ individual needs
- Take part in wider school life, including planning, staff meetings, and enrichment activities
✅ Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Recent experience or strong understanding of teaching in Key Stage 1
- Confident working with the Curriculum for Wales and its Areas of Learning and Experience
- Positive behaviour management and strong classroom presence
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply through us)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
