Teaching Personnel the largest education specific agency in the UK with over 80 branches across England and Wales. Our Primary branch, located in South Yorkshire are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our flexible workforce and meet the demands of the schools that currently work in partnership with us.
We are currently looking for a number of intervention specialists in core subjects for our Barnsley/Doncaster primary team.
There are many working options available to suit all diaries from part to full time roles, temporary or permanent, long or short term assignments as well as the block booking and day cover for those with existing commitments or don’t want to stay in the same school for longer periods of time.
What we are looking for
You will be a specialist in a particular core subject such as Maths, English or Science and are primary focused. You may have been a previous core subject lead or worked within a trust of schools supporting various members of the trust raise attainment. You may have received particularly good SATs results in English and have a proven track record of raising attainment as a full class teacher. You may have worked in a different role prior to teaching that gave you excellent subject knowledge that is transferable to the classroom, if so we urge you to get in touch.
Generally, the intervention specialist would work with small groups of children predominantly in the lead up to assessments in order to excel progress and prepare children to take crucial examinations.
