Full-Time Class Teacher

Pay Scale: M1–M6 depending on experience

Start Date:  September Start (Fixed Academic Year Contract)

A welcoming, small, and nurturing primary school located in central Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Class Teacher to join their team from September, for the duration of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community with a strong “family feel,” where staff are valued and every child is truly known and supported.

The Role:

  • Full-time class teacher position (year group to be confirmed)
  • Fixed-term contract for the academic year (September start)
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate strong teaching standards, supported by references
  • Be passionate about supporting children both academically and personally
  • Show a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure every child reaches their full potential
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

Recruitment Process:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
