Primary Class Teacher
Part-Time, 2 Days per Week

A highly reputable and well-established Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in Havering is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their permanent staff list. This is a part-time position (2 days per week), offering an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive environment that values professional growth and high-quality teaching.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning, maintaining high expectations for all pupils.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons effectively, ensuring that the needs of all learners are met.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the learning experience for all pupils.
- Contribute to the wider school life and uphold the ethos and values of the MAT.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
✅ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant teaching experience within a primary setting.
✅ Demonstrate a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
✅ Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
✅ Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development.
✅ Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
✅ Be proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute positively to the school’s learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
