Are you an ASC Experienced Support Assistant? Looking for a full time role in a Chorley Primary School?
Are you interested in working alongside a child with Autism and associated behavioural difficulties in KS2?
GOOD Chorley Primary School
A proven track record of working with children is essential
Are you a driven, enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a GOOD school in Chorley in order to source and appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely alongside a child with challenging behaviour in Key Stage 2. The pupil you would be working with is working in a Year 6 class and currently assessed below 'expected age related levels'. The pupil struggles to socialise with other children and needs different strategies implemented in order to build self confidence and creative resources would need to be adapted to suite her needs.
The school is located in the centre Preston and the majority of children who arrive in school are working in line with age expected and the behaviour tends to be GOOD. The role will be to start in January and run until Easter at least depending on how the child engages with the support. This will be a five day a week position covering up to 33 hours. The rate of pay is competitive with other roles of this sort varying from £8.41-£9.50 per hour and so this is an excellent opportunity.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested in the above role, or equally so, if you have any friends or family members who would be suitable. I can be contacted in the office on 01772 842154 or by email
