PPA Cover Teacher

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Walsall

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £95 - £145 Per day

Qualifications: Qualified Teaching Status

Job Duties:

  • Provide cover teaching for planned absences of regular teachers
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across various subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate with colleagues and parents regarding student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Previous experience in teaching or cover teaching roles
  • Strong understanding of educational best practises
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in IT skills for educational purposes

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time temporary position with regular hours
  • Work within a supportive and collaborative school environment
  • Potential for additional responsibilities or long-term opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
