Are you qualified teacher looking for work in primary schools? Are you looking for a step back from full responsibilities (planning and marking etc)? Are you available just 2 days a week?
Teaching Personnel's Birmingham primary branch are currently recruiting experienced primary School teachers for contracted part time time opportunities due to start in November. The role would include working as in-house PPA cover at a set school just 2 days a week, with scope for additional cover days around your availability.
These positions are unfortunately not open to ECT's but we are hiring ECT's for other positions so please dont let this put you off applying as we may have a different vacancy for you !
Your roles and responsibilities as a Primary teacher would include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to children across the school.
– Managing behaviour in the classroom
- Communicating effectively to parents, SENDCo's and other educational professionals
- being flexible to year group and key stage
For these positions you MUST have:
- a QTS and have completed your induction period.
- Suitable references showing prior experience teaching and good behaviour management skills
- flexibility to work in KS1 or KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
