PPA Teacher – Everton (L5)

Start Date: September 2026
Location: Everton, Liverpool (L5)
Pay: Competitive Rates | Weekly PAYE Payments


The Role

A well-regarded primary school in Everton is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to provide Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) cover across five classes, while also delivering targeted intervention support.

This part-time position will be based on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, working with pupils from Year 1 to Year 5. In addition, the successful candidate will provide a half-day of focused interventions each week for a small group of Year 5 pupils, helping to close gaps in learning and boost attainment.

This vacancy has arisen due to the current postholder relocating. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher seeking a rewarding part-time position within a supportive school community.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Have strong behaviour management skills and be able to implement the school's policies consistently
  • Be confident, adaptable and capable of working independently across a range of year groups
  • Be committed to raising pupil achievement through high-quality teaching and effective intervention work
  • Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
