Primary School in Aintree (L10)

We are delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Key Stage 2 teacher to join a committed and supportive staff team within a well-resourced KS2 department.

Applicants must have previous experience delivering the UK curriculum and feel confident teaching across the Key Stage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a minimum of one year’s teaching experience within a UK KS2 classroom.
  • A strong track record of planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum, alongside a clear understanding of the importance of data analysis.
  • The ability to inspire pupils and support colleagues, showing genuine passion and dedication to raising educational standards.
  • Effective use of available resources, including ICT, to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Confidence in creating an inclusive learning environment, with experience supporting pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) to promote their progress and development.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of a range of teaching and behaviour management strategies, with the ability to apply these successfully to achieve positive outcomes.

This school caters for a diverse pupil population. As such, experience in differentiation for pupils with EAL and SEN is essential. Experience of planning collaboratively and working effectively alongside support staff is also required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
