PPA Teacher – Chorley

Job Title: PPA Teacher

Location: Chorley

Length of Role: Until July 2026 with a view to permanent in September 2026

Pay Rate: MPS

Setting: Mainstream, single‑form‑entry primary school

A thriving primary school in Chorley is looking to appoint an enthusiastic PPA Teacher who can bring energy, adaptability and strong curriculum knowledge to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working across multiple year groups and is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

You will be responsible for delivering well‑planned lessons, ensuring smooth transitions during teachers’ PPA time, and contributing to the school’s positive culture. The position runs until July 2026, with the potential to become permanent from September 2026. Teachers with excellent behaviour management, strong organisational skills and a passion for primary education are encouraged to apply. Part‑time applicants are also welcome, with a minimum of 0.6 timetable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
