Job Title: PPA Teacher

Location: Leyland

Length of Role: Until July 2026 with a view to permanent in September 2026

Pay Rate: MPS

Setting: Mainstream, single‑form‑entry primary school

A well‑established primary school in Leyland is seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who thrives on variety, enjoys teaching across year groups, and is passionate about delivering high‑quality learning experiences.

The school is known for its strong community ethos, supportive leadership team and well‑behaved, motivated pupils. As a PPA Teacher, you will work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute positively to the wider school environment.

This role offers stability through to July 2026, with the exciting potential to transition into a permanent position from September 2026. The school welcomes applications from teachers with strong classroom practice, excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach. Part‑time applications are also welcomed, with a minimum commitment of 0.6 timetable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
