Job Title: PPA Teacher

Pay Range: M1-UPS3

Location: CF3 - Cardiff

Start Date: Monday the 4th September, 2023

Contract type: One year, temporary

The role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong, experienced Primary School Teacher for a PPA role for the next academic year (2023/2024) in our partnership school based in Cardiff (CF3). Teaching Personnel will be looking for someone who is able to commit to a full-time role, Monday to Friday from September for the whole academic year, finishing in July 2024.

The successful applicant will be comfortable teaching all ages, ranging from the Nursery class to Year 6. A willingness to learn, adapt to change and use your own initiative is essential for this role. The school are open to discuss the subject areas taught within the PPA role, with the school interested in utilising the strengths of the successful applicant!

The school will be looking to shortlist teachers who are able to display strong behaviour management skills as well as a passion for making a difference every day.

Vetting requirements

In order to be considered for the role, we will require the successful candidate to complete our vetting process which will include:

  • Evidence of Qualified Teacher Status
  • An in-depth up to date CV
  • A fully enhanced child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (we can help with this!)
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council as a School Teacher
  • 2x Teaching based references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
