Daily Rate: £151.70 in line with the Welsh National Framework

Location – CF14/15 Cardiff

Start Date- September 2023 for the full academic year

Hours- Monday-Friday (8:15-4)

The Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident and flexible teacher to cover full classroom responsibilities across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 in Primary schools in the Cardiff area. The role will involve covering classes where the teacher has been released for PPA. Curriculum work will have been planned, resourced, and prepared beforehand by the class teacher, of which you will be expected to deliver to a high standard.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Confidence and experience in leading the class
• Deliver materials provided and lesson plans to a high standard
• Setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge
• Ability to work flexibly and with a range of professionals
• Strong classroom management skills and demonstrate confidence when confronted with challenging behaviour

We are currently accepting applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers for the role.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Enhanced DBS (child only) and Update Service
• EWC registration
