A GOOD Walton le Dale Primary school has approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a part- time Teacher who can cover a number of subjects and teachers' PPA. The role will be to work for two full days, flexible around the successful candidates' availability and will run for the entirety of the academic year. The expectation is that the school will look to complete a temp. to perm. option as a way to put a successful candidate through a 16-20 probation whilst working through Teaching Personnel.

The Head teacher is preferably looking for a teacher with experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and so it is important that you have recent experience within these departments. The school does fall within a mixed catchment area, behaviour can be particularly challenging and so the Head teacher is also looking for applying candidates to be able to demonstrate a range of positive behaviour strategies and techniques.

The school does fall within the village of Walton le Dale and as a result the children who attend school are well behaved and are keen to learn. The parent's of the children are also very supportive and will work with the school to ensure the children make good progress.

This is an excellent opportunity for any newly or fully qualified teacher to take up a part-time role within the Lancashire local authority. The Head teacher is keen to develop any applying candidates and happy to support in anyway possible, even to complete NQT inductions.
